The BOP RC Stockcar Club for the use of the track, Rocky & Cameron for dragging it over and setting it up on Friday, also to EVERYONE that helped out, for gridding up right through to helping someone get their car to the track on time, and breaking the track down and cleaning up, and how can we forget the Taupo Members, CHEERS......
and also a Big Thumbs up to Adrian and the team from the Spa Hotel for letting us smash in their shed

Congrats goes Rocky, running under 4R, in a 2nd meeting old car, a repilca based on a real stockcar from the late 80's early 90s, his pace & driving skills were magic to watch a well derserved City Auto Spares World 540 Champion for 2012.
There was a heap of other awards, but Ive thrown away the list so I'll mention what I can remember....
Kenneth 119L, gaining the wild card entry to the finals, only to be stuck in the sand pit in 2 of the races......
Ruff Raro Kayne 69W The BIG nail; for getting nailed at the 540s(drinking too much)
Shrek, The small nail; for getting a little bit nailed.
Kooza 68H The toy Bucket and Shovel full of sand; for playing in the sand pit, actually having a party in the sand pit, he had 4 others in there with him
Ash 22W; getting the best dressed car
Ryan 85B; best dressed competitor
Mark 7H; fugliest car
Pops 27G; oldest competitor
DJ Jack 289W; youngest competitor
James 29G: best wrecked car

The roll over rule proved popular, wooohooooooooooo..... and it would be cool to see it introduced into the national events....
